It features all of the new technology in the platform, and has the following specifications:

• AMD Turion X2 Ultra dual-core processor
• ATI RS780MN chipset
• ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 Hybrid X2 graphics card
• 15.4" WXGA+ display
• 802.11b/g WLAN
• 2.0 MP webcam
• Fingerprint reader

Also on display at Clevo's booth is their upcoming 15.4-inch M860TU gaming notebook based on the yet-to-be-released Intel Montevina platform. It features the new Montevina Core 2 Duo processors, an Nvidia GeForce 8800M-GTX 512MB graphics card, and WSXGA+/WUXGA resolutions. The Clevo M860TU will come stateside as the Sager NP8660 when the Montevina platform is released in July - August. Please visit our Sager/Clevo forum to stay up-to-date with the latest news on this model.

TN71M

Below is the Intel Atom-based tablet, the TN71M.

It has the following specifications:

• Intel Atom processor
• Intel US15W chipset
• Integrated graphics
• 7-inch WSVGA (1024x600) display with touch support
• 802.11b/g wireless
• 2.0 megapixel webcam
• Fingerprint reader
• ExpressCard slot

"From my hands-on experience, the TN71M leaves much to be desired in terms of overall build quality. The plastic case was very cheap and flexible, and would bend with the slightest touch. While the specifications are fine for a notebook of that size, without a durable shell it would fall apart in a matter of weeks."

Stay tuned for more news from Computex Taipei 2008 here at NotebookReview.com. Our very own Kevin O'Brien is on the show floor obtaining all the information on the latest technology in the notebook world and taking all of the wonderful pictures you see here. Stay with us!

I'll update with more news about other models when I get confirmations on them.

Getting there... we already know about the M860TU and M570TU.

They did not debut their AMD (Puma) Griffin systems yet w/ AMD-ATI RS780M.

Nah, I think that'd be about right. The DIY touch screen add on for the Eee PC is around $300 according to Engadget. So, if you think about it, the price is about right. Plus, you don't have the danger of seriously messing up your computer.

OMGGG... even more drool. I think i stated, isnt that processor also theoretically possible... I mean, it fits the mobo, its just, its gonna get real hot real fast, meaning notebook cooler and FN+1, but workable nonetheless.. no?

The D901C is not a new notebook to debut... there is no replacement or refresh model for it.

It still lives on and remains king. ;)
