    Configuring 4.0 speakers on M570TU

    It seems that only the green jack on the front panel is willing to output sound. If I plug a speaker into either the Blue or Pink connector, then select "front", "mid" or "back speakers" in the autoconfigure panel, I get an error message saying "This device type is not supported!" This doesnt happen with the green jack.

    Also if I leave the cable in after I got the error message, the Realtek window looks like this:

    I have no idea what those red arrows mean. I've never seen it before.

    Anyone knows how to make the blue/pink jack output sound successfully?

    That looks like the blue is line - in and the pink is the microphone? so not speaker jacks?

    The jacks should be re-mappable to do 5.1, have you tried updating the drivers from the realtek site?

    Actually, this is probably the easiest place to get the latest drivers from, the realtek site is horrible and their servers are slow.

    This exactly. But I can't remap them for some reason...

    I'll try updating with the driver from that site, thanks.
