Hello. I'm a long time Nvidia user so Catalyst settings are bit foreign to me. I'm currently having a problem where all my texts on the HDTV looks really blurry. The text/image when the TV is hooked up to my desktop has always looked and still looks nice and crisp.
The overall picture looks better when it is set to 720p but this TV is native 1080p.
I'm probably doing something wrong, I'm sure. Any help is appreciated.

Bump and update:
I figured out how to configure it so everything looks nice and crisp now. I have, however, ran into another problem.
When I play a visual novel, in this case Fate/Stay Night, a simple "game" that is more like a book with voices than an actual game, it won't work well in fullscreen on the laptop display. It looks like this:
I'm sure this is an ATI/graphics problem since: 1) The game runs fine in fullscreen mode on my desktop(Nvidia), 2) with my HDTV plugged in and running in clone mode with both resolution at 1080p, the HDTV doesn't exhibit this problem.
I'm guessing that this is a signal issue though I have yet to find any options in the Catalyst panel that remedies this problem.
This happened with two different visual novels while all 3D games looks fine in fullscreen.
