I was seconds away from purchasing a new 5792 (or 5793 now I guess) when I noticed on Xotic's purchase conformation page they offer a 15 day no questions asked money back guarantee. I was under the impression that all Sager brand computers are covered by a 30 day money-back guarantee so I guess I am a bit confused. Do I need to purchase from Sager directly to get 30 days money back guarantee? This is important to me and one of the selling points of Sager IMHO, 15 days does not seem like enough time (especially after dealing with my Sager 8790, I haven't purchased a Sager since).

do you have a link to the 15 day thing? like you, i was under the impression it was 30-days.

Xotic is a reseller, same as Sager. They're both actually Clevo machines under the hood. Sager and Xotic just resell it with their logo, and are the best known distributers of them.

Sager is the largest OEM for Clevo laptops in North America, they are not a reseller.
Xoticpc is an authorized Sager reseller, as is PowerNotebooks.com who has sold more Sager laptops on the Internet than any other US reseller.
At PowerNotebooks.com and Sager the total satisfaction guarantee allows you to return your Sager laptop for any reason within 30 days from the original ship date for a full refund of your purchase price alone, less any damaged or unreturned parts. Neither Sager nor PowerNotebooks.com will refund shipping/handling and insurance costs.
I think you will find that Xoticpc has the same return policy for Sager laptops, but Justin will have to confirm that. -
15 Day No Questions Asked Return Policy
If for ANY REASON WHATSOEVER you should fail to be satisfied with your XOTIC PC Product, you may return it within 15 DAYS of the ship date for a FULL REFUND of your purchase price less the original shipping. To return products, you must, within 15 calendar days of your original ship date, call XOTIC PC's Sales Department toll-free at 1-877-289-9684 to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization Number, which must appear on all communications about the Returned Product, and on the outside of the shipping packaging. You must ship the products to XOTIC PC in their original packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. You may return software for refund or credit only if the sealed package containing the diskettes is unopened. Also, if Windows XP or Microsoft Office has been activated, it will not be accepted back for refund or credit. Returned products must be in as-new condition, and all of the manuals, diskettes, power cables, and other items included with a product must be returned with it. (If for any reason a return is received back with physical damage to the item (Scratches, dents etc) the repair costs will be deducted out of the refund amount.) XOTIC PC will not refund shipping/handling and insurance costs. Customer must use whatever means is necessary to ensure that product is returned to and received by XOTIC PC within 20 Calendar Days of the Date of SHIPPING (original ship date). Items that are returned that were shipped with Free Shipping or upgraded shipping will be deducted the appropriate cost for the shipping option used. Any Order Rush Processing Charges are Non-Refundable.
