    Hi all,

I am trying to hook up my M570ETU to a Philips HDTV via HDMI-cable.

Problem is that when I press FN+F7 to switch screens, nothing happens at all. The laptop screen doesn't even react...
And in nVidia control panel, when I try to select multiple displays, I cannot find the HDTV on the list...what should I do?

I have the newest drivers from nVidia, I think it was 185.85 or something.

Do you hear any audible tones when you plug in the HDMI cable to your laptop? (the tone you hear when it is detecting the new hardware)

Nope, I don't hear anything at all...nothing seems to happen :S

By the way I have some hardware with yellow question mark next to them, in Device Manager. Those are:
    - Basic systemunit
    - Basic systemunit
    - SM-buscontrol
    - USB 2.0

You thing those could have anything to do with it?

PS: I don't know if the names for the units are the same in english...I just quickly translated them from my original OS language.

hmm haven't tested this yet but if you go to control panel,
personal settings, and then select connect to projector/external monitor on the left side does that do anything?
(I hope I translated it good in english cause my windows is in dutch lol)
also make sure to connect the laptop to the tv before turning your laptop on.

Well I have Windows XP and I can't seem to find it anywhere...

Damn, this is strange...absolutely nothing happens when I plug stuff into the HDMI slot...Are there any HDMI drivers or something I need to download??
