As in the m570etu which features an upgraded motherboard and supports quad over the original m570tu I was wondering if there is any hope that Clevo might release a new motherboard compatible with the i7 architecture for the m570tu in the future?

No. The i7/Nehalem architecture is sufficiently different from the current architecture that in all likelihood (i.e., 90% or better), all i7-based notebooks will be completely new designs and there will not be an upgrade path for any current notebook.
