Hello, I've been looking for a good, portable laptop that can play games like COD4. I plan on using this for school and college so I need it to have 3hrs of battery life. The Sager np2098 is pretty attractive, but I can't seem to find reviews of it. Any thoughts about it? Does it have good build quality and how long does the battery last? Thanks for the help.

The NP2098 is built on the Compal KHLB2 which has been reviewed. If I remember correctly the NP2098 has about a 4 hour battery life idle, 3 hour battery life with internet usage, 2 hour battery life with DVDs, and 1 hour battery life on load.

    get the np2096
it's the same except for the video card, which i think is better (9600GT) and you have the option the get the screen with the 1650 x 1080 resolution... i think

^Screen may be better, but the 9600m GT DDR2 won't stay up with the performance of the KHLB2's HD 4650 GDDR3.

How's the build quality on the 2098? Also is it better or worse than that of the 2096?

I heard build quality is roughly the same as the JHL90.
