    Hello everyone,

So I for a while now, I've been looking at the MSI GT680R notebook that has i7-2630QM and GTX 460M and it costed about 1500+ CAD.

Then I went on searching for other brands and found Sager laptops at Reflex Notebook Canada - Your Source for Sager Notebooks and Laptops in Canada

I was amazed when it gave me options to choose what cpu and ram I wanted... and it was much cheaper than the GT680R...

I'm also reading through the reviews and stuff in this forum and I'm seeing some good reviews but I was wondering about long term use, reliability of the hardware and etc etc..

So I want to get some user inputs about this laptop. ( NP8130-S1 in particular I find something I like)
    i7-2630QM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M GPU with 1.5GB GDDR5 Video Memory
    8GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
    750GB 7200rpm SATA 300 Hard Drive

Questions that I would like to see answered are:
How is the laptop holding up? How long have you had the laptop for?
How is the temperature of the laptop when under load (gaming) or at idle?
Now the website gives me an option of having a "Guaranteed no dead or partially-lit pixels for first 30 days of purchasing" for $100 :)() so how is the LCD screen? Should I really spend 100 dollars for it?

Thank you very much for your time,

PS: This is kind of off topic but I was just wondering about the GTX560M... I heard that GTX560M is worse than GTX460M and vice versa... Sooo which one is actually better? 560M? or 460M? o_O;;; Thanks again!

I guess the GTX 560m = GTX 460m with OC.
But it wont cost anymore cash so no sweat.

The 8130 has been a pretty popular model, and it is cheaper than the 8150 if you're looking for a GTX 560M. I usually suggest it if you're looking to save a little bit of cash.

I think the Owner's Lounge for the NP8130 might be best for you if you're looking for some info on how it holds up and temperatures.

The 560M is a new GPU so as far as long term use is concerned no one can really help you on that questions but it is stronger than the 460M. If i recall tests showed a 12% increase over the 460M.

The dead pixel guarantee is a personal preference, most go without it though.
