Does anyone have a cooling Pad/Mat that works well for the 5793?

Be sure to check your fan intake and outtakes and compare any pads to that .. some blow in, some blow out (since fans location can matter), etc.

I had the ThemalTake powerless pad for quite awhile, and in the end when monitoring temps .. it didn't seem to matter one wit for me. (I'm using the laptop on a desk mind you, so a nice flat surface; perhaps its handy actually on a lap..)

I was really surprised by the result, but such is life. (NP5790, essentially same as yours. I've updaded to X9000 and such internally too, even. Runs same heat with or without Thermaltake.)

    mind if i post here....

whats the cooler that suits best for M860TU?
i already did some mods to the backplate , cutting a big hole for the harddrive...
but it seems that the temps didnt drop down...so i think i need some coolers that can blow air directly into the hole , any ideas?

I believe the NC2000 is pretty well accepted as one of the best.
    Cost aside.
Although I know Antec also makes a good one... the name eludes me right now however.

NZXT CRYO LX is a good cooler and you can replace the 3 120mm fans with other ones if desired. Expensive thou.

I really want something that doesn't have to be powered and is highly portable. I went with the xpad. My laptop seems to cool well enough on it's own but doesn't always have enough room to breathe. Can't wait to get it and try it out.

i think passive cooler is only for macbooks...since they dont really have vents on the bottom anyway...
the whole aluminium casing acts as a cooler..
