Hey all, I'm interested in buying a NP9150 - special edition for whatever that means..

I'm looking to buy from Xoticpc and I have a question regarding cooling. They have some special service called "COPPER COOLING UPGRADE - Extra Cooling Copper Heatsinks Applied to the Heatsink/Heatpipes." Does the NP9150 come with copper cooling already or should I spring for this and pay the extra $79?

    Thanks for all your help!

Also I'm wondering about battery life. I see that it says it's about 4 hours surfing the web. Is that with a HDD or SSD?

Either as web surfing is not HDD intensive I believe. The copper cooling mod is simply applying low profile ramsinks to the heatsink assembly, which unless you do mods to increase airflow are not very effective IMO.

Pass on the Cooling upgrade, there is no data to support it does anything. For 80 bucks its Way too much for little to no proof.

Doing some work on my computer, in an hour I got to 70% so it should see 3 hours.
