    I recently undervolted my 2.0Ghz C2D thats powering my 5760. I thought I would share my results.

    The process was fairly simple. I started with a quick search over at google and found a forum where someone with a t7200 posted their results. Sweet! All the works was done for me.

    I fired up NHC and carefully worked my way down to the VIDs posted in the forum.

    VIDS:
    6.0x - 0.950V (Impossible to go any lower than this volatage)
    7.0x - 0.962V
    8.0x - 0.962V
    9.0x - 0.962V
    10.0x - 0.975
    11.0x - 0.975
    12.0x - 1.000V (may be possible to reduce to 0.987V, but I bumped it up)
    12.0x - 1.000V (may be possible to reduce to 0.987V)

    Now the results:
    (Room temp: 76F; no notebook cooler; fans on high)

    One hour gaming session
    Before: 48C --> 118.4F
    After: 38C --> 100.4F

    Thats a healthy 10C decrease in temps. Thats ~18F.

    Futhermore, when plugged into the AC and at max performance (2.0GHz) my temps when idling at the desktop, or with light use, are 32C (89F!).

    I fired up wPrime and had it run for 45mins @ 100% for both cores and it detected no errors. The temp after 45mins was 40C.

    I did the same with superPI, and again no errors.

    I haven't had one BSOD, lockup, or CTD since performing the VID changes. However, you do this at your own risk! I'm not responsible for any damanges that may be inflicted to your system. These settings worked for me, but they may not work for you. So be careful!
