Could my Sager 6165 (W150ER) do this?

I've been bouncing between the new Sager models like a ping-pong ball recently and it finally hit me that I may be looking for too much.

Short and simple the 6165 saves me close to $200 and the spec would be:

    i7-2670
    Nvidia 650M GDDR5
    8G Ram
500 Gb XT Hybrid SSD drive

Id like to max out Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, and pretty much any MOBA and or RTS on 1080P, but also get some decent battery life for working outside the house.

My main worries are overheating (as it does not have the two back vents the 91xx series is known for) and chassis/build quality.

    Thanks in advance.

I've been taking a close look at the 6165 as well. For my gaming needs (Tera, SWTOR, a little BF3) it looks like it will do.

    Thanks Anthony for the response.
Gosh, im just not interested in it not making the cut with Diablo 3, although i think it should.

The NP6165 shouldn't be considered for a primary gaming machine. Its more for mobility/productivity with mid level gaming performance but not as a primary rig. The NP9130/9150 are better choices as they have more powerful GPU options.

I finally went with the 9130 as its a little more future poof and i can simply avoid worrying about overheating. Thanks for the help.

A little off-topic, but I'm looking at buying this same laptop.

Do you know if there is a backlit keyboard on this model?
    how thick is the laptop?

    Thanks!

I'm pretty happy with the ultra 1080p performance of SC2 on my NP 5165. And that GPU isn't even close to gtx 560m speeds.

It does. In fact, I was set on buying an NP9130 until I saw the two hard drive bays the NP6165/W150ER. I already have a 180GB SSD! When it comes to gaming, I plan to play games like FIFA 12 and Diablo III only occasionally. The 650M GPU should be fine for a long time for my needs. Plus its lighter and more portable. And with the savings I can throw in the matte display w/ color upgrade and IC thermal compound... man I'm excited. Just waiting for Ivy Bridge of course.

    First post.
