It seems like every time I shift my laptop left to right (and vice-versa), there are some slight creaking noises. It sounds like they may be coming from the bottom of the laptop, but I'm not positive. Also, the sounds usually happen after the computer sits idle for a while, then if I try to shift it again, the creaking noises come back. Is this normal or has anyone else experienced this?

creaking noises, hmmm is that the right word to use.
is it a creaking noise like when you open and close your lid or something else. its difficult to understand what you mean by creaking when shifting your laptop left to right.

also can you post your laptops spec so we know what sort of hard drive you have as an ssd wont make a noise but a spindle drive can.
also how old is it and have you you cleaned the fans and vents out or is it brand new.
the more info you give the more we can help

I encounter more of a the aforementioned "snap-crackle-pop/squeaky noises" when I move my NP9150 around. I think that it is totally normal because of the plastic build of the laptop.

Lol yeah "creaking" might not be the best word to use. It's not a creaking noise when I open up the lid, more of like a "squeaky" noise. I've got an SSD in the main hard drive bay, and an HDD in the optical bay. I just got it about three weeks ago.

Yeah, more of the snap-crackle-pop/squeaky noises. It's definitely not a mechanical grinding or rattling type of noise. And the fans seem to be running fine. I just wasn't sure if this type of "squeaky" noise was normal or not, because I heard Sager laptops are built really well. But it makes sense because it's plastic.

Yeah, that's what I think the noise is. Good to know that it's normal then!
