UPDATE: OK I solved this myself. Turns out I needed to install all the drivers from the disk supplied which included an updated audio driver. Seems like PWN PCs didn't install all of those drivers before it was dispatched to me (because I'm guessing they're classed as optional and they only install the essentials to cut down on bloatware).

My Clevo P170SM arrived today (yay!) and I want to check out the speaker quality. I install the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 software from the disk supplied. It restarts. All good. Then I try to run it. What's this?

'There is no supported audio device available'

Well, yes there is, Creative. There's the speakers. Which do work, I've heard them.

    Anyone know what's going on?

The laptop's speakers are far inferior to my older Samsung's JBL speakers. There's no bass on these ones! At all. But the screen is far superior so that makes up for it :p

Haven't tried external speakers yet. Will do soon.
