hey all i haveing trouble again with the SBXFiMB3 program, tried to reinstall the p177sm audio drivers and now the program wont start it just locks up and make the system take a long time to shutdown

there is now 3 audio drivers in device manager when im pretty sure there was only 2 to start off with a NVIDEA one that goes away when i uninstall the NVIDEA driver, and a realteck one that also goes away but there is also a windows one that wont bugger off it just comes up as a HIGH definition audio device
any ideas i have got the drivers from the sager website but i cant find any windows 7 ones so that might be it

A lot of time the microsoft driver is the 'default' driver until the actual device driver is installed. The realtek and the nvidia audio device are the standard devices on my p157, I'd assume the same for the P177 since it's essentially the same hardware.

Install the nvidia, install the realtek, reboot, and the microsoft one, should, theoretically, go away.

i just did a system restore after bluescreening trying to restart its ok now with only 2 audio devices again NVIDEA and realtek 6.0.1.6870 i hate that the drivers i was sent with are all for windows 8 and dont seem to work
The only way i could fix the hotkey issue i was having a while back was to reimage the HDD not a good sign

    Hum.

Not sure which model of P177 you got, but if it's a Sager, you can get the drivers direct from them.

    Software Upgrade

They have Windows 7 as well as the Windows 8 drivers. Including the hotkey drivers.

    Hope that helps.

My p177sm-a came with 2 driver discs one for 8 and one for 7. Im not having issues with audio other then headphones shutting off after I lock or sleep the computer. Still havent found time to debug this issue.
