I got some youtube vids up running Crysis Warhead and Crysis on my XPS M1730. Look for Magnus72, or search for Crysis Warhead XPS M1730.

Its likely the 1GB VRAM that is giving me the greatest boost at that resolution. I've also OC'd the system via SetFSB from 1066mhz FSB to 1150mhz fsb which helps a bit. Shaders are OC'd a bit too. I bench on the second level, which seems to have better fps. The first level sucks for frame rates.

I use the 177.92 for the same reason..
However I advise you to use the CCC config of crysis 1 that speed up things!
And big surprise, there is a little tool for BENCHMARK Crysis warhead here http://www.incrysis.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=398925 . remind to copy the tmd files that it creates in your Level folder, if you hadn't put crysis warhead in C:\Programs\ etc.
Come on Let's benchmark with level Avalanche or ambush!!

I just tried Crysis Warhead with the latest driver. I have around 10fps at all settings max out, maybe 20fps in lower resolution and Gamer quality (or the 2nd best quality, I don't remember).

Just overclocked my GPU to 610/1525/945 with a bios flash, and I'm getting some +10fps on this game now, bringing playability up a ton.

    Real benchmark time...

Downloaded the Crysis Warhead benchmarking tool:

If the standard bencharmking doesn't include the some 4x AA, I understand how you can get such a high FPS.

I'm going to be totally honest with you here, I don't notice the effects of 4x AA at 1440x900 resolution AT ALL. Granted it is a step down from native (and AA is technically absolutely useless at such a high native res on a 15" monitor), but I think 1440x900 is really the sweet spot for smooth enough lines in gaming on a 15".

Hm, I have a noob question...Crysis Warhead keeps leaving full screen after an amount of time and then stays like a normal window until I go in settings, check the full screen again and click Apply. There no popup coming, maybe I believe its because of Windows Live Messenger 2009... but I belive its suppose to minimize then come back in fullscreen instead of disabling it?

^^ i have the same problem in my 9262 too all you do is hit Alt+enter and it goes back full screen.

now back to my question people. i know im on the wrong thread but since this is a warhead thread anyone knows why i still have lag with my warhead on my 9262 8800gtx Sli rig. my settings are 1680x1050 and all settings on gamer and shader and objects are enthusiast. also have 2x AA also enabled.

using a razor lachesis mouse too. seems that i move the mouse quickly and the screen moves a fraction of a second later. but if i move the mouse slowly it tracks pretty well.

I have a Razer Deathadder and I experience no problems with it...
    Awesome mouse, highly recommended.
At what DPI did you set it? Lower it...and see if it helps.

    Hi,
I have anoying problem with Crysis WARHEAD for some reason fps in the game are slowing down from around 30 to 17. My settings are 1440*900 all ''gamer''. GPU OC to 600 1500 950 max temp. 78C. After restart of the game all is alright around 30-35 fps. Any ideas why?

Strange... Kind of sounds like a memory leak?
    My FPS are stable, though.

I am having an issue, not sure if its related to you guys above. my framerates (all very high except a couple, im at 20fps ish in DX10) are fine but when i turn in a new direction for the first time the whole game freezes for half a second and completely takes me out of the action, and it does it all the time. its like its constantly loading new things in and my computer cant load or stream them fast enough or something. as soon as an area is loaded and ive turned in every possible direction it seems to work just fine!

i just got the game today so ive only tried it on the very first level, i was hoping to solve it before moving on.
