so u added a third heatpipe to the slave gpu heatsink? what exactly were the steps u took to do that?

    hi
so we used 3 pipe, it is not a cheap solution, we will be watching with two Pipe cooling.

    rapid changes

So vss, when will the new cooling solution be released? is it possible to install the solution through the HM Model? :) We still need a 3 heatpipe cooling as well ;)

    Hi
so today I had a very long conversation with Big Bos HawkForce result:
are small modifications of P370 and 150 170 etc
So we will test models for P150/170HM. (but unfortunately I do not have P170HM to see if cooling will operate. really important is the position of HP and it's hard to do without equipment (P170HM)
as I had more time I will take care of this.

now focuses on the next generation,

    current status:
cooling tests passed, small changes will be applied (waiting for delivery from the manufacturer)

    hi
    jayBee83 ,
My guess is that it would be of great interest, the problem is it takes a lot of time to design a new cooling, but if P1xxHM/EM is not that difficult, I have a problem with the CPU for P37X, CPU cooling is very advanced, but I'm good thoughts and someday it will be possible 3940XM @ ~ 5GHz on air points in benchmarks hitch.

Sweet! On the P1x0xM the CPU needs it the most, as jaybee said current cooling capacity is a joke for XMs...
...something like this as a ready made solution would be good:

Could you please post a picture of the heatsink-side of the added heatpipe?

hmm....trying to enable voltage control on gpu tweak version 2.3.7.3, but cant get it enabled. does that only work on version 2.3.5 or am i missing something else?

so this is only one option, the other versions do not allow you to change the voltage, @ Prema, the manufacturer of radiators still lingers in the production, which is why I used the alternative oem

the target is to be a very big heatsink on the heatpipes up to five, But suffice to 7970m 3 heatpipes, the problem of 8970m we will one efficient cooling for two graphics cards

hi , so it will be in the Offer Shop,

after two hours of IDLE it was impossible to switch on the fan for the GPU Slave
    I think that's a very good sign, Room temp 22°C ,

thank you all for your time, of course, will be the first to know news

I hope the cooling solution will be adapted to the HM Series - NO FAN@IDLE would be very nice.. like mine m17xR3 before.. silent @ idle and with load more silent then the clevo with all his mods.

Since this is for the 2nd card it's a very different design in the HM/EM series for only one card.

I think VSS and the clevo subvendor Hawkforce are working out a cooling system for the whole p370em - incl. the first GPU and the CPU. Only a enhanced solution for the slave seems a little bit "useless" to me ;) Also a third heatpipe seems adaptive to me for all components - and the design for the first GPU is like the one in the HM/EM Series or not? :D

    thank you for the motivation,
The plan is based to deliver a complete package
Priority is silent with Office application,
priority 2 to ensure an appropriate level of enthusiast,
If it will not dismantle the windmills often in IDLE it will be a longer range on the battery.
and modernization of all tests and projects take a lot of time, it is very much material for one connection

Hm, my idle temps are around 37 to 41 °C - it varies as also the vent spins up at 41°C; cooling the GPU to 37°C and so on.. thats very annoying.. Which thermal compound do you use?

@ Jaybee Its for GPU, my new CPU hovers around low 40s in idle. No external cooling applied.
I have applied the tape mod only, the thermal paste is Prolimatech PK-1. Ambient temp was around 20-21 C. I have used AIDA64 extreme edition to measure the temps. Measured just after I had it all cleaned and repasted. I will try to get you some screens if i don't forget :D

P.S. I have IC Diamond too but the application is very tricky, couldnt make it right :D

    20 minutes is enough

    This is from today:
[IMG] - 10 mins after the machine was up.
[IMG] - after 5 mins wow + some time to cool down, look at the time.

Look under the pics for more info. :)

P.S. Ambient temp is around 20-21.

Hehe some news.. ordered Prolimatech PK-1, repasted about 10 Minutes ago - idle temp 38°C with foil mod .. so i think the paste job must be very very clean and excellent to get lower temps in idle and the HS varies from Notebook to Notebook cause of the gaps in the copper etc.

In my case it does not matter which thermal compound i use - temps in idle don't get lower or higher.
Going to make some benchmarks now for the temp at full load.

Nothing - load and idle still the Same. I'm not a pasting master - but i used the First time the dot method, with the pk-1 i pasted the whole die with a thin structure. Maybe thats the point
