Hey guys, I've done countless searches across the web and cannot find an answer to this. I'm looking to making a custom fan profile for my GPU, however any changes I make in Saphire Trixx, MSI Afterburner, or even in CCC don't have any effect. I can adjust fan speed to 100% in any of the aforementioned programs and my fan speed will remain the same.

I've also tried both HWInfo32 and HWInfo64, and the button for custom fan profiles in the sensor window isn't even there.

Fn+1 works fine and does put my fan speed up to 100%, for whatever that is worth.

Is there something I am missing, or does the 6970m in a Sager/Clevo just not have the option/ability to utilize any custom fan settings?

The fans are controlled entirely by the motherboard's EC, not the GPU it's self so no you can't adjust the fan settings, at least not at the time.
