    Hey everyone :)

I'm looking into buying a Clevo, probably from Sager. The only thing that keeps me torn between the more well known computer sellers such as Dell and Sager is customer support. While I'm capable of discerning and repairing desktop computer issues on my own, I am not nearly as experianced with laptops. As such, good customer support is important to me. Do resellers such as Sager even have customer support? Is it comparable? I apologize for what may seem like stupid questions, but I'm new to the realm of high-end notebooks.

I bought my Sager 5793 from XoticPC.com a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier! Their customer support, in my opinion, cannot be beat!

The level of service you will get from Sager resellers like PowerNotebooks, XoticPC, and others mentioned in the Clevo guide will be way above and beyond what you will get from Dell or HP. No annoying prompts and outsourced tech support - you call, the phone rings, and an American who knows what they are talking about will pick up.

If you're in the market for a gaming notebook, you can't go wrong with a Sager.

Another great place to reference any "digital" company's Customer Support is:
    www.ResellerRatings.com

There are over 14,000 companies listed there and it has a simple Search tool so looking up any company your are considering is easy. I don't buy anything digital before looking the company up there.

Thank you everyone for the responses; browsing the reviews on ResellerRatings, and the replies to this post, I'm blown away by how impressed each and every Xotic PC customer is. I'm now absolutely sure that I want to purchase a Sager from Xotic. I only have to resolve one question...go with the NP5793/M571RU-U or wait for the M860TU...but I don't think this is the correct forum to ask :p

This the correct forum to ask actually, since it`s the Clevo forum, and its main distributer, Sager.
I`d suggest the 860Tu if you don`t need a 17 incher and want more battery life, or the 5793 for the best 17 non SLI incher out there.

It is the correct forum to ask that question. Do you need the portability of the m860tu? WHat are you going to be doing with it? Will you be taking it places?

I'll be starting classes this summer, and the ability to carry it around campus would be good. Not that I couldn't carry a 17", i might just look like a douche bag doing it. But regardless of size, I need it to be extremely powerful for the 2,500+ I'll be dropping on it.

M860TU is the laptop for you then. But you won`t have it anywhere before the end of June/start of July, and that`s something you need to consider also.

Semester starts June 24th, so that wouldn't be too much of a problem. Will pricing be in line with the M571RU, or more/less? If that information has even been released...

June 24th will be cutting it very close. The Montevina platforms may not even be shipping by then, or if they are they will have just started.

Pricing isn't released yet but we expect it to be released about 2 weeks or so before shipping begins. You can rest assured that it will be announced here in the forum the instant it becomes available, and will be posted on Xoticpc and PowerNotebooks.com's websites :)

My GUESS is the 15.4" M860TU should be in line with (+/- 10%) or cheaper than the NP5793.
