Hey everyone. I wasn't really sure where to put this topic but since its regarding my hopeful purchase of a Sager NP5460 from XoticPC I thought I might put it in here.

My concern is the shipping fees across the border from the US to Canada. Does anyone know how they calculate what duty will be? Will it be the 14% tax that I would buy if I was to buy it in Ontario?

I'm hoping to get an answer on this so that I can put my order in tomorrow and have an idea what the cost is. If anyone can give me some insight, maybe someone has gone through it and has a ballpark number?

    Thanks in advance.

*cough* Eurocom.com *cough*. They're in Ottawa. Don't take web prices to seriously as you can cut as much as 25% off the specified prices. email them. You'll save on duties, shipping and delays.

I was in QC so I paid only GST. Plus shipping was only 30$ puro.

Man I really have to get on their commission lol.

They have great service. The only thing is they don't have all of the paint jobs like Hypersonic. They carry whatever Sager carry cause they're also Clevo rebranders.

Check it and let me know. Send an email to their Sales. Alen there is quite open on dealing a price.

And if you choose ordering from US anyway, expect:
    - High shipping charges (like 150$ or more)
    - Broker fees (probably 40/50$ or more)
    - to pay GST and PST.
