I hated vista in the beginning but after a while (and a lot of custom edits ;)) its not bad. Been running vista 64 bit with 4 gigs of ram and its pretty nice. Emulators run fine on it, games like supreme commander, fear , far cry, command and conquer 3 and wow all ran perfect. No complains... well other than some probs with slow loading web pages... while my other computer on windows xp zips through pages like there is no tomorow... but other than some issues with tcp/ip the rest is fine. Btw anyone had this problem about slow loading pages, kind of a high latency, fast then slow fast then slow and sometimes time outs on dlownloads? Yep no firewall and fresh drivers for my wireless, and yep connected on the proper network ;). Come to think of it yep this sucks on vista lol ;)

never had slow loading webpages, but in games i would have too many errors to count (fully updated drivers/dx9/vista), and in CSS i had a drop of over 25 fps.

Thanks. I'll give it 2 weeks. :D I'll have to learn to work with it. Vista isn't going away. At least not until the next MS OS opus.:rolleyes2:

When I need help I know where to go looking.
