    Hi all,

I just ordered a Clevo D900c and I was wondering about some needed accessories. I would like some answers from people that actually used some of this accessories with D900c.

Cooler: ZALMAN ZM-NC1000 - How well does the the D900c fit on it?

BackPack: Kensington Contour Backpack, Pakuma? I really dont' know. Please help. I just saw those on the net, and althought it says 17" support I don't know if the d900c will fit (the measures seam incompatible).

Gaming: Belkin Nostromo - Anyone uses this? It looks like a good way to avoid using the keyboard that much to play games (FPS).

Mouse: Razer DeathAdder - Anyone with one of this that can say something about it? How good is it compared with G5?

    Anything else worth buying?

Thanks in advance for any help.

im ABOUT to order it in about two weeks... im probably getting that same cooler, everyone here seems to have good rep. with it, and it helps if your gonna do quite a bit of gaming/OC'ing

... i dont think you need a BACKpack for it, maybe a carrying case, but if you need one, it says 17"... if it dont fit a 17" laptop then they would be false advertising.

umm.. cant help u with the belkin.. i actually like the keyboard!... i kno..nerd :p

mouse is personal choice... i kno some ppl who still like ball mouse better :/

Cooler: Zalman has already been used with many of the D900C/D901C users here. Its fits fine and works great.

BackPack: I have a Kensington Contour Backpack, its very high-end.... but will not fit my D900K... so I had the notebook pocket altered.. :D Works awesome ever since.

It fits Clevo M570U and M570RU.

So I would I have recommend looking at backpack's dimensions and specs extra close for such a beast.

Mouse: I actually was debating on getting the DeathAdder initially... with the G5 and MX518. The G5 was ugly rusted colors and had a single thumb click (the new version has 2 now). The MX518 was perfect... except the ugly optical illusion of dented metal on the casing.. looks like its been chucked into a wall a couple of times. The DeathAdder had everything... except the price was not that appealing to me (its gotten better though).

Its all preference though. Choose the one that you are most comfortable with, they are all fine gaming mice. :)

    Wow that was fast.

I'll go for the DeathAdder as it seamed nicer on my hand when I tried it in the shop. It is also cheaper then the G5 and Copper were I live for about 12 bucks.

I'll blindely trust all of you guys regarding the cooler and ZALMAN. Althought the dimensions don't seam quite right for the d900c but if you say so.

I definitely need some input on the Backpack and the d900c. Someone uses one with it? I need a Backpack as I don't see myself carrying this monster in anything else :)

I'm having the same exact issue as DFTrance. I need the same exact stuff. Targus seems to have a lot of bags that would fit it. I hear that the j!inx/ogio backpack works, but I need to look into it further. My friend has one, raves about its indestructibility.

Backpack: I'm using the Targus XL backpack and the D901C fits perfectly!
Cooler: Zalman ZM-NC-1000 Works good but I wish it were bigger. It feels a bit unstable to me...as far as the sides sticking off. :(

Thank you so much for your answer Wu. I was hopping you would answer my call :)

Yes I'll probably buy that bag. And you confirm my suspicions regarding the ZALMAN. Do do you have any suggestions regarding the cooler besides the ZALMAN.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm getting that Targus XL when my 9260 comes in too.

AND, I just went out & bought my G5. Its such a big difference than my regular OEM mouse. Its taking some time to get used to it. I find myself playing CS:S at low DPI and doing everyday tasks at high.

Oh, and BTW, in firefox with gaming mice at the 1k reports/s, my task manager shows 50% usage if I trace circles quickly. Thats on plain old Google... Wtf is with that useage? (CPU=3.0ghz PentiumD)
