    Since we have a lot of clevo reseller online, just thought i'd ask:
    could one use xp64 with 4G and sli or are there driver issues?

    XP64 bit can address up to 4GB memory fine, it's why XP 64bit was released for. but at the time of release most of the hardware chipsets wouldn't address it pass 3gb.

    but the D900C P965 Chipset can address it up to 8GB (6GB) fine, so you will get full use of your memory as long as you install a x64 OS, XP 64 or Vista 64.

    the issue is driver support and application support.

    xp 64 is really a lost child that noone cared as it was released just to allow the amd x64 processors to show it's working.

    not much of the application companys picked it up. so if you want to run a x64bit os. it would be better to with with vista as most programs are now being optomized for vista but not for xp x64.
