    well it seems that someone has bought 1 of these D900F GTX680 kits from the ebay store ...

    any idea how well it works with a D900F ???

    any issues with the upgrade kit ???

    I purchased an X7200 Upgrade Kit at Eurocom, not via their Ebay-Site but via E-mail. It was painless and as uncomplicated as you could wish! I payed via PayPal so they "instantly" started testing my Card and have been able to ship it via UPS on the same day. I received it exactly 7 days later, which is amazing considering I live in Austria (not Australia...) and Eurocom is situated in Canada.

    It was my first time ever going into the guts of my Notebook, but once you watched the Upgrade Video it's dead easy. I had no issues installing my new Card and uninstalling my previous 6970M's. You only have to flash the latest SagerBIOS prior to the install. They even sent me a new CPU heatsink (apart from the GPU heatsink, which was needed) but I could not use it because my pre-installed fans were too big sized. The heatsink overlapped the fan on the left side.

    Interesting is that the 680M GPU fan is smaller than both my previous 6970M fans, and yet the card runs much cooler.

    They also include a modded driver so the driver install works flawlessly.

    The 680M is on stock clocks about as powerful as my 6970M's, but offer enourmos overclock-potential as the stock temps are only 61-63° for me.

    I'm really happy I pulled the trigger :)

    Yep I watched those 2. Also the 6970M CF Installation in the same channel to get an idea on how to uninstall my 6970M's :p

    Ya for a long time there I thought I bought a non upgradeable laptop....

    GTX680M will hopefully arrive tomorrow. Get installed the minute I get back from work.

    Then it will be maxing my CS:GO settings..with some CRYSIS 2 chew and spit !

    GOT MY CARD

    So another successful upgrade from gtx285m to gtx680m on the sager/clevo d900f aka np9280. - rebranded here in Australia as metabox.

    Does anyone know how the modded inf works and how to get driver updates ?

    Were you able to install the drivers on the CD ?

    And what about future drivers?

    Will drivers from the Nvidia site work ?

    I am interested in this upgrade for my d900f, would like to ask some questions
    1. is the card running@full clocks?
    2. does the hdmi output of the laptop work?
    3. does the dvi output work ?

    I can answer (1) yes it runs at full clocks, as to the others, someone else will need to grab that for you.

    DVI works, i thought HDMi works but i connected to tv via hdmi and it didnt will need to check this

    I too want to upgrade my graphic card and buy the gtx680M from Ebay.The upgrade kit includes the graphic card drivers and the gtx680M bios but not the motherboard bios. How can I get this missing bios?.I am of course ready to pay for it

    The BIOS should be free and available. Eurocom might send it to you via E-Mail.
    Or one of our fine community members can send it to you.

    Sager or Eurocom won't share this customized bios to non customers.I live in France and
    bought my clevo at MYSN in Germany..I have contacted them .they confirm that the latest official bios only supports the gtx480m .The 680 demands a special bios

    He answered me and help me a lot, thank you. GTX680M will work in D900F. Only HDMI will not work. Has anyone tried DVI to HDMI cable with audio ?
