I use the D900F in my sig.

Anyways, its really been running great, but slowly its started running warmer, I only noticed it when the fans started kicking in more.

Being lazy, I did not think much of it.

I use a Zalman notebook cooler, so it keeps it pretty cool.

But the weekend I got a BSD, with a weird memory error.

I thought what the hell ... turned the notebook off then on ... nothing - the notebook was not happy with me :)

Then I waited for it to cool off, and it booted fine.

Then I thought damn, time to stop being lazy.

I open it up .. removed the batter exposed all its components.

Got out the can of air blasted all the fans and intakes (allot of dust came out). Vacuumed a bit *correction: vacuum that blows* ...

... and my baby is again running (near) wisher quite, and cool as a breeze (even if I touch the back).

Anyways, I love this notebook for how easy it easy to clean and maintain.

... so there you have it kids, dont be like me. Clean out your notebooks from time to time, it prevents nasty hardware issues/damage that may result due to heat build up.

How hot does your CPU get if gaming without the cooler pad?

Never use a vacuum, it creates static and can fry your motherboard

I use a electronics vacuum that got from fry's some time ago ... it can both suck and blow :) ... a simple can of compressed air does the job fine.
