Hi,
I 've found this on the forum:

4 Audio ports:
1. Headphone or Front L/R (Left/Right) out
2. Mic-in or Center+Subwoofer out
3. S/PDIF-out or Side Speakers L/R out
4. Line-in or Rear L/R Speakers out"
Can someone confirm the same for the d901/0c?
If the confirmation is positive the only problem I see is that you loose a Microphone input to use with an external microphone (A lot of 5.1 headphones have an integrated microphone). Even then I'm not sure as this box is full of surprises. Please someone try this out?

PS: Maybe one of the things I was no linking about this laptop turns out to be lack of information (is not in the manual).

Same 4 inputs on the front. Different order.
(From left to right)
1. Line In
2. SPDIF
3. Microphone
4. Headphone -
Has anyone tried using the analog jacks to plug in a 5.1 speakers?

Just to say that I bought the Medusa 5.1 headphones. They sound ok on games but the Razer Barracuda were better. For Music they are better then the Barracudas.
Now, I tried using the analog jacks on the d900c. They worked!!. Indeed, every time you connect the jack the lappy asks what channel you want the jack to output (rear, center/woofer etc etc). Great!!!
The only jack it does not ask for the inteded output channel is the digital output. I wonder if it should ask or not, anyone as a definite answer? It seams not to output anything but digital. Wel not really if I enable digital output and plug in the rear speaker cable I can hear sound buy really full of noise.

I am using Vista, so maybe I don't have finalized driver here.
Can you help me ? -
Do you mean Tritton?
Anyway, that is a common problem with the 5.1 headphones. Try adjusting the volume in the equalizer. If that does not work there is little I can help to solve as it might be a driver issue or headphone malfunction.
I still have to test the Medusa's throughly as bass is two low on rear speakers.

Thanks Man,
Yes I mean Tritton head phone,
Actually I have problem with the rear, center and subwoofer speakers. They generate very low volume sound even when they are maxed.
So if I adjust the volume in the equalizer for front speaker to match others I will have too low sound.
Is there any way to increase volume output using modified driver or something?
