I think the choice depends on the need.raw power vs power with battery.

I am sure many ppl will find one of them perfect for their own use.

    Don't forget price as well.

The 5793 is cheaper, lighter, but less powerful.

The 9262 is quite a bit heavier, more expensive, and more powerful.

    RU : sole reason -price.

I wanted an SLI system for max power, and I couldn`t afford it last year. But I don`t regret it, the m57xru is an awesome machine .

Unless you add the sli 8800 it's power is comparable to 570ru right?

Does this desktop processor make much difference to mobile processor if they have he same speed, lets say 2.5Ghz?

    5793 :
    -light,powerful,looks cool,nice trim,but a bit nosier

    9262:
    -heavy,the most powerful,looks butt-ugly,no trims,less noisier.

haha... wow... this again... but yea 901c will always win in power... but the 570 is alot more mobile once uve dealt with the D901c.... Every1 is repeating the same thing, Mobile power/ expensive power... and they're right... but if you gave someone 10 grand and said.. CHOOSE!... you know which they'd pick ;)

You can make the RU look cool too, especially since it`s thinner and has than nice wedge shape, and the speaker position makes it all the better looking :p

I love my Sager NP9262, when I ordered it (It was shipped to my Uncle's House in San Diego), he was like, "Wow, in my business, we only buy 800-900 laptops, you gotta show me how powerful that machine is!), and the weight impressed him a lot too, so... I love it for its raw power and aesthetics. :)

NP5793! Amazing Price, The performance beats 90% of desktops out there, plays every single game I have on max settings, except crysis, 10k 3Dmark score on my 2.5GHz model, Battery will last an entire movie with full brightness and still have some juice left in it, lighter, thinner, easier to carry, Has some decent visual trim on it, draws much less power. If your looking for gaming, and your not full of money, the only reason to get a D901 is to either play crysis higher, show off your 3DMark score, play your games at 100fps, or provie better performance if your running the higher res screen. It feels good to take the system into work everyday and have everybody drool over it's performance! :)

    m570RU because:

    1) Cost
    2) Size

Can't afford the bigger rig with higher-end features, and don't like the weight of the 9262.
