Hi all, after weird scores under 3d mark06 under Vista 64 bits i tried to run it with Win XP just to check.

Under Vista i had really different scores from 13100 to 14400....Drivers did not change the problem :( But everyone told me it was normal so i didnt worry.

But then under XP, BADABOOM lol 15021 and second 15040.....hum seems much better no ?

    I have a unbranded Clevo D901C With 9800m GT SLI and a Q9550.

The other thing i noticed under XP with 3d mark06 is the FPS...it is much more constant than with Vista. For example i get 60 fps and almost nothing change in the scene, then VISTA plays like 54/55/58/60/54 when XP will play 59/60/58/60/59 etc etc..

Any idea why ? Im about to try Crysis Warhead under XP :)

Unfortunately this is the way it is with vista :( You get dx10 and with it some good lighting effects, (hard to see that much difference though) But the performance drops quite a bit..

Microsoft just made a statement that windows 7 will have much better performance numbers. And that it is a OS "revolution" Let's really hope that they are right. Probably not :/
