I have read quite some problems here about SLi with 8800M GTX not working properly - only one card being recognised, spontaneous down-clocking etc...

This is the first time I'm going SLi so I have little clue... are the drivers stable now?

(PS I don't have the notebook as yet, I'm during the final stages of ordering... :) )

yep very stable mate. it depends on what drivers you use. the ones that come wit your laptop will do the trick. or you could go to www.laptopvideo2go.com and get the latest modded drivers here.

dazzyd: You have the same laptop specs I'm ordering together with Vista x64. :)

Which driver version are you using?

Are your drives in raid 0?

I have yet to experience any problems so far, no downclocking, both cards recognized and running great. Still running stock clocks and the stock driver from Sager.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've probably tried three dozen games or game demos with my SLI system and all worked fine with a wide variety of drivers. I'm now using Sager's driver, 174.90, mostly because it's the last one I installed and I'm tired of trying them.
