I've checked around the forums and used the search feature and could not find anything related to my question. I'm curious what version of PCI-E the D901C is using, I know Everest states my M571RU is using 1.0, does the D901C use 2.0? and if not will the newer versions like the upcoming D90xF use 2.0?

it does not matter.... the PCI-E 2.0 specs are just a phase over to a newer standard.

the graphics cards of mobile systems ... and over 95% of all desktop cards.

is like the Hard Drive SATA standards.

the latest standard is SATA-II (300MB/s)..... but most HDDs do not even utilize the previous SATA-I stardard (150MB/s).
    - only the 10k+ rpm drives in desktops can really take advantage of the new standard.

so do not worry about it... its just gimmicks until the technology catches up to fully utilize the newer standards.

It's not exactly something I'm worried about, It's more of a curiosity. And I'll assume by your post the D901C is 1.0 as well.
Just to get an idea of what we're looking at future wise, what type of specs would a mobile GPU or mobile SLI config need to require the use of the 2.0 standard?

its not going to be anytime soon that a mobile graphics cards to even need 2.0 ... probably when a new standard replaces it. ;)
