I have a D901C -- I forgot the power cord, the part which leads from the wall socket to the A/C converter brick, at my other place where I'd be returning only next Monday!

I'm sure battery power won't be lasting all the weekend  lol

However, the female connector on the brick fits with the male connector on the wires I use for desktop computers from PSU to wall socket.

I'm nearly sure that it's OK to use this wire (the PSU desktop one) instead of the Clevo one I forgot at the other place, but I though it's better to ask advice over here, just in case...

    Thanks. :)

I dont think there should be any problems in that :) The current running through the clevo and the desktop cord should be the same, so I cant see any thing wrong doing so :) If im worng please correct me :p

If anything, the desktop PSU cable would be rated for more current..

They should be exactly the same, as the current rating depends on the connector on the end. If it has the same connector, it has the same rating.
