    D901C use E8100 E8200 Q9300 test

    E8100 ES
    E8200 OEM
    Q9300 ES

    Computer

    D901C 7950GTX SLI

    E8200

    boot ok... view 1 cpu ..view 8200 but not view core....(normal is 2 Core)

    run windows run CPUZ can view E8100 but FSB only 266.....CPU 266*8Mhz

    windows can use 2 core .... taskmgr can view 2 Core

    my mem is DDR2 800Mhz

    SuperPI 23s

    8100 same to 8200 but boot cant view CPU model

    Q9300 ...... cant boot......

    my bios is 1.00.13 dexgo give me ....

    where did you get those engineering samples?

    The new Penryns are available for purchase in my country, including the Q9450, which is a best buy in my opinion.

    beacuse a lot of PC hareware made in China ....

    so ... need a lot of ES Cpu test Borad...

    so ... i can find the CPU and Test my D901C

    the computer maybe only support 1066 fsb...

    but i see the serveice manual

    the borad can use 400Mhz fsb .....

    The Clevo D901C supports 1333 FSB. Eurocom is offering the processors you mentioned already.

    he has the older mobo that only supports 1066 i believe.

    to day i tested E6750

    all normal

    can use 1333 FSB

    but.... use 8200 ES only FSB 266Mhz

    :( not konw why?

    Dexgo ,please tell me How overclocking my CPU

    use software ? Clockgen? but i see the borad ICS is 7344620 model

    i want oc my CPU on 400 fsb...

    I think you need a new BIOS to use the 45nm and to overclock.

    A newBIOS will be required for sure.I don`t think anybody made an official statement about supporting the Q9xxx quads yet.

    Sager is now offering on their website the E8400 processor and Justin has already tested a q9550 in one D901C. The q9xxx ar enot offered by sager yet because of limited availability of processors.

    test new 45nm

    Q9100 ES
    Q9300 The final version

    can boot

    can run windows and CPU-z

    but boot view 1 Process cant view Core number, normal is 4 Core

    windows taskmar and Cpu-z can view 4 Core

    Windows Can use 4 core

    but ..... but ....but ....but .... FSB is a problem only 266Mhz...FSB 1033

    i think problem is BIOS and VID maybe....

    if clevo can full test 45nm CPU ,i think P965 can support the new CPU

    need new bios...

    maybe May can get support 45nm new bios
