Generally, yes, unless (perhaps) the mistake is so palpably obvious that any reasonable person would have known that it must have been a mistake.

That's without an OS though. I don't see anything wrong with price. Get it, seriously, even if it is a mistake, you get it at the price its state at.

that's a serious mistake, if ten persons buy this computer today, Novatech will have to deal with ten unhappy customers (and very disappointed)

but theres nothing they can do, if it was for sale at like 0.99p then yeah they could but at this price i dont think they could do anything but allow the sales (as far as im aware, please tell me if im wrong)

if i had the money then id go for it, and if they did retract the price i would say that im not buying it then.

Nope; if the rule applies (and unless it's been changed by statute), what matters is what a hypothetical reasonable person would have done or known, and not what you subjectively did or knew (or didn't know :D).

There's not so many hypothetical reasonable persons out there no more. I think the standards have changed. I'd say -Go for it!

Well, if you go click click and add it to basket and then go view what's in the basket you will see this:
    X50 MV PRO 15.4" Intel Core 2 Duo P9500 2Gb DDR2 320Gb SATA HDD DVDRW Nvidia 9600M GT 512Mb Graphics

So clearly some kind of wierd web page mistake, my guess is you'd think you bought a super beast at a super price and end up with a 9600GT :D.

Yes go for it! What's the worst that can happen?

Your bank and the company go through a pissing contest because you're disputing the charge if they change the price

    or

The person that posted the price on the website lose their job and then they can't go out and buy their son the GI Joe with the Kung Fu grip that he wanted for Christmas?

Good follow-through! That seems to scotch the idea of a super-deal.
