    The Base unit, No cpu,hard drives,tv card, blueray reader, basic memory is $1950.00 Or so new right now.

    i'd bet he paid close to $3500.00 for that laptop less than a year ago.

    LOL, reasonable is an understatment if ya ask me.

    That was then. Considering how much newer competitive models that are coming out now go for, the single 9800M GT and the fact that it has a dead pixel (you'd be surprised how much value that one dead pixel takes away from a machine), it's reasonable, though having 8 gigs is a bargain.

    (1) 9800 GT 512 mb graphics card.
    1680x1050 Resolution Screen.1 Dead Pixel, hardly noticeable.

    it's not so much the dead pixel as it is the 1 9800m gt..
    current price of one 9800m gtx..760 bucks times 2 1520.00
    add that to your 1295...dammn near 3 grand. to get updated

    or buy a second gt, which are pretty hard to come by right now.
