So the M860TU will have DDR3 1333Mhz ram and it is a 15".

Why is there no 17" notebook that offers DDR3 ram?

And how much faster is the DDR3 1333MHz vs the DDR2 800MHz ram?

I think all Montevina laptops will have DDR3 RAM.

Well, according to a review I saw a few months back (can't remember where) - DDR3 was not noticeably faster than DDR2 as it is not the bottleneck in most systems

That is a good way to put it. The memory and memory bus are quite a bit faster. However since it is not the bottleneck the noticeable difference is minimal. It really depends on what you are doing. If you are doing something that keeps a lot of stuff in memory it may be more noticeable.

The bad thing about DDR3 is how expensive it is.

Batman because Superman is too afraid to kill people.

Batman has beaten Superman many times already.

superman would win because batman is not a super hero, unless you count having lots of money a super hero.

Actually there have been many stories showing Batman beating Superman despite his lack of super powers. He is always prepared, and he THINKS. Superman is a muscle-minded tank brain.
BTW, Batman has had Kryptonite numerous times....Usually just to get Supes attention. :D

Wrong... Batman eventually kills Superman (in the comics) with Kryptonite.

Actually Batman ends up killing almost every superhero in the same Comic Line :( cause batman is badass.

Even if the advantage of DDR3 RAM are not evident in the older platforms, perhaps the montevina chips will show some more improvement over the DDR2 RAM with them?

Then I guess Iron Man isn't a superhero?

anyways, I am happy with my 800 mhz fsb and 667 ram as they overclock very nicley to 900 mhz and 750, respectively... also Nirvana, that GPU OC worked out VERY nice, my system is roaring, 100% stable, 100% cool w/o cooling pad!

DDR3 is volted lower, thus lowering the power drain on the battery. Score one for DDR3. DDR3, despite its higher latencies, is far more efficient in terms of how it manages data, Score 2 for DDR3. Its far faster for those using mem intensive apps, such as photoshop, animation etc, which spend a majority of its time in mem cycles, score 3 for DDR3.

So there ya go. Reasons to go with DDR3. If your just playing games... likely you'll see little difference at all. In crysis, I saw about a 1.5 fps gain going from 667mhz to 800mhz in my desktop. We'll see how this tests out.

No, he is because he is a genious. He made his own suit. In the movie he even created his own perpetual power supply. Batman just uses other peoples gadgets that were invented by people in his company.

You cant stop the hulk.. if you've read the comics hes pretty much unbeatable. In the comics he kills doomsday, takes out the xmen, beats iron man does pretty much everything.
