    Hi Guys! I have clevo notebook and i have BSOD. Like that;

    " DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (SynTP.sys) "

Its looks like a synaptics touchpad driver problem. I bought a new computer and did not play with any settings. I did not touch any of the frequencies. I just set up the necessary drivers. After playing the game for a long time, the computer was locked and reset itself. When I looked at the minidump folder, I saw the above error. Some people say it's because of Clevo Control Center. what should I do? Please help me guys!

It would help if you put your system specs in your signature. Feel free to use my signature content as a template, then edit it to match your laptop's model and specs.

Also, tell use what Synaptics driver version you see in Control Panel > Programs & Features

The latest driver for your laptop model is 19.3.4.36

Please download it from here, use the Asia Server although it may take a while. If you have trouble downloading it, I can upload it for you on mediafire = http://www.clevo.com/en/e-services/download/ftpOut.asp?Lmodel=P65xRP6&ltype=9&submit=+GO+

Please uninstall the current synaptics driver then reboot, then immediately install the new one and reboot once prompted. You need to do this as soon as you boot into Windows to prevent Windows from updating your touchpad driver on its own.

This driver was previously installed. ( before the 19.0.15.2 driver.) and this driver didnt solve the problem. After playing the game for a long time, the computer was locked and reset itself.

hate to say it I have the same problem myself, had it happen 3 times now and it seems random, had it happen today, previous time was 12/9 and first time was 11/21.

    system is a sager np9873
    synaptics driver is 19.3.4.31

seeing as the driver is the latest my only option would be to find an older driver and try it or see about a generic driver (if they are available, I do partly miss the specific options tab in mouse that was on my old system).

also since it is so random (today I was playing warframe, last time it was WoW, don't recall first) its hard to force a reproduction, I also have it set as "disable on external mouse" in windows settings since I never use the touchpad really.

lastly I did search for this the last time I had the problem and did find a post for another clevo laptop that said it was related to the clevo control center and some keyboard/mouse filter drivers. the post had you do some registry editing and either the hack doesn't work or I did it wrong but when I rebooted after removing the entries I lost ALL mouse control (not even a pointer) and the keyboard didn't work in windows (could log in but after most buttons did nothing). luckily I was able to get into safemode and restore the registry entries. for reference this is the post I saw http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/synaptics-causes-bsod-on-p650se.770938/page-16#post-10235938

hopefully this might help figure out how to fix it, already lost things in both games due to the bluescreen (which is actually "screen off" I just know it was BSoD after checking bluescreenview and eventviewer)

Seems like a Synaptics driver is causing the issue.

This is the solution. HKKbdFltr.sys (HotKey keyboard filter driver) is the culprit. It blames SynTP.sys if touchpad driver is also installed, but touchpad is not the root cause. You only need to remove the HKKbdFltr line from UpperFilters. Mouse filter driver is fine if left as-is. If you do the Registry edit correctly, it should fix the BSODs without affecting any functionality.

I am surprised Clevo/Insyde has left this bug unresolved for so long (over 2 years now).

Thank you anyway. I search old posts. Some people say it's because of Clevo Control Center.

Hi. I practiced what was said in the sammy34's thread and i havent lost mouse control or keyboard control. Read the thread carefully. dont erase registry files just double click UpperFilters and erase the HKKbdFltr. erase HKKbdFltr dont touch others. click ok and reboot. It seems like it's ok for now.

I'm going to apply the same trick on my Sager NP8952/Clevo P950HR too. Thanks for sharing! Hope Clevo can solve this issue soon.

Thank you. This bug has been a thorn in my sight for over 2 years starting with my P750ZM. My P870DM also got it too.
