Hello, I am wanting to connect my 9150 to my AV Receiver and get DTS or DD 5.1 or whichever else audio out of it. Am I able to get this done via HDMI? I have connected it by so far my reciever is only showing stereo instead of 5.1 Does anyone know if it's possible with this laptop and I just haven't found the right option yet? I tried searching for this and only found one other person asking and he never got an answer in the 9150 owners thread.

    Thanks, Chase

    Hey Chase,

Make sure you have your audio settings in Window set to a 5.1 speaker configuration.

Make sure you don't have a stereo out source connected to your receiver either, such as a TV; I think that will override it.
