One of the (smaller) UK resellers, DVC based out of Brighton, has ceased trading effective 10/03/17.

I have seen a few people here with DVC in their signatures and I thought I'd just make a thread to alert them. It might be a good idea to get in touch with them and work out how warranty etc will work now that they are no longer in business.

All their Clevo chassis were bought through Fortune tech/PC Specialist so if it's still in warranty then the chassis should be able to go back through them.

That could be one way to deal with warranties.

But it depends on how DVC organises that process.

Well as they have ceased trading, not sure what they would do as there's no one in the offices any more

I meant how they have organised the warranty claims processing going into future. Whether it would go through PCS straight away or there would be some sort of different system in place? Anyway, I am sure they would know the best.

    Have you heard from them?

You might want to reach out through their suppliers to see if they can help then.

Well everything considered, they did have reasonable prices and offered value adding supplementary services, such as delidding.

That makes it a greater shame! Hope someone else steps into the fold or does something similar!
