My problem is exactly what the title says. I keep my notebook on for a little more than a day and it just goes away from My Computer. It comes back once I restart it. I'm using Vista. Any fixes?

Vista has some problems with optical drives. Here is one.

I thought there were some other related patches but can't find them immediatly.

Thanks John. That link doesn't have a link to the hotfix so that I can download it though. I can't find the hotfix # either. Any help? And sorry for the trouble :(
