    Hi guys I just got my dvd enclosure in the mail do I need any driver for it? It seems to be working at least it powers up because it opens the door the led powers up and it spins when i close the drive but windows can't install it and appears at unknown device in the device manager. Tnx

    You do sometimes have to tell Windows through device manager to search for the correct drivers. Generic USB DVD drivers should work just fine. Have you given that a shot?

    I found that what is actually goin on is that when I screw the two back screws it tightens the drive too much and pull it up and then the case touches the spinning weel holding it from spinning correctly. Tested it running the drive plugged in the pcb without the case...
