Hi, Dane guy here, and I think this is my first post here, long time lurker hah :D

I Just bought a rebranded P170EM with the following configuration:

    Intel Core i7-2670QM
    16GB 1600MHz Kingston HyperX
    Intel 120GB SSD
    WD 500GB 7200Rpm
    Radeon HD6990m 2GB
    17.3” FullHD-LED Glare

And so far I'm loving it! the ONLY things i hate is the keyboard, i really want the Danish keyboard WITH light, but I cant find anywhere to buy it :(.
second question, can i put a Intel Core i7-3610QM in this machine?

    Velkommen til NBR ;)

Real quick though, are you ABSOLUTELY sure that it indeed is the P170EM and not the P170 HM?

If you are sure, and say you are correct, then yes it'll be possible. Also, you should be able to contact MM-Vision (which should be able to sell you a DK-keyboard)

You should be able to contact them via mail: [email protected] and as ar as I remember the DK-keyboard (backlit ofc) should be DKK 459,-

edit: talked to them regarding a barebone sale to me (which they usually don't do.. but once in a while it's possible) and they said the following
    I hope that helped ;)

I speak Danish yes. Might call me Danish... hehe

But that's quite a powerful machine you've got, so if I were you, I would sell the 3610QM on the NBR marketplace ;)

    LOL :p

Hmm, i gave 6000Kr. for my P170HM with that configuration thought it was a nice price as laptops that powerfull are expensive in Denmark.

I think i put the 2670QM for sale and put in the 3610 instead ;)

The motherboard isn't compatible with the newest generation...

Very annoying for many. You can try though.. but yeah

Funny story though, the 2670QM works in the P150 EM generation as their mobo is new and can be backwards compatible.
