Anyone able to get Dark Souls to run using their dGPU? No matter what I set in the NVIDIA Control Panel, it's always using the iGPU, driving me nuts .

By the way I used the mod here to make sure it runs at 1080P, without this mod no matter how high you set, it's always running 720P, and the FPS caps at 30FPS...

Edit: I found the issue... Using mod will prevent the dGPU from running the game and became iGPU only... Looks like I'll have to stick with 720p for now..

The authour released a mod that works with Optimus laptops:

    DSfix 0.8 | metaclassofnilblog

    DSfix 0.8

Now the Dark Souls runs in 1080p and with solid 30FPS on mine! By the way don't enable Ambient Occlusion in NVIDIA panel, will cause the framerate to go unstable and jumps between 15 and 30 FPS.

You guys are gluttons for punishment. I gave Dark Souls a try on the 360 and it was just too damn hard.

Good luck making it to that next bonfire!!!! ;-)
