Hello again everyone. Quick question; how does Dark Souls 3 perform on your Clevo/7970M laptops?

I feel something is wrong with my setup, because I need to set all graphics to low and res to 720p just to maintain smooth gameplay. There are significant slowdowns during intense battles if settings are even at medium. I'd never see such slowdowns on my gaming desktop, which runs an i5-4690 and HD 7850.

Have you looked to see if the dedicated GPU is being used? See how loaded the dedicated GPU is.

That game has performance issues. Try these drivers.

There was a guy on their forums who was running the older driver who was getting 4-5FPS and after updating to those drivers he can run 1600x900 on medium now with no problem.

It performs pretty well. I get 40-60 fps at medium-to-high settings and antialiasing and all the fancy stuff enabled. I have a i7-3740qm, 16G RAM and a 7970m (Clevo P150EM).

BTW, I've been using the standard Crimson drivers and updating them whenever an update came out. The game still remained smooth.
