    Is there a noticeable difference between DDR2 667 and DDR2 800?

Would it be worth the extra few bux?

No there is no discernible difference.

And if you plan on getting a notebook with a mobile 965 chipset (Sager 5793), it will only use up to DDR2-667 (and will downclock to that speed if you get DDR2-800).

If you plan on getting a notebook with a desktop 965 chipset (like Sager 9262), then it will see the DDR2-800 correctly.
