    i always use external, but i only get picture on laptop display now after it died. im still under warranty, so ive sent it to my seller.

    which cards does p150hm bios officially support?

    You can also go lower to the 560 series or with a modified vbios the 7970m can work too.

    IIRC it goes all the way back to the 460M and 6970/6990 too.

    none of these cards are still in production? what are my sellers options if they cant replace the card?

    im guessing there will be cards available as an upgrade but depending on reseller they could just replace or charge a upgrade fee.
    my 9800GT died under warranty and i was upgraded to the 260gtx which is a better faster card so theres hoe for you yet.

    Not being in production doesn't mean anything.

    Sager just replaced my 580M with another about a month ago.

    Plenty of refurbs exists... for now at least, though it did take almost 2.5 weeks to get in from another country they said...

    I still have just over a year of warranty left. What would be interesting is if a year from now if they can still get these things refurbed or if they would be forced to replace the entire machine with comparable, like the EM with a 675 etc.

    Oh well. won't worry about that now. I might be selling this and upgrading anyway.
