    Dead pixel on M860ETU

    Hello, i just found a dead pixel in my clevo, and i searched in all the places, and i tried the videos that you play, that shows all the lights, i put it for 15 hours, but didn`t worked. You guys from the forum, know anything that can help me ? :( thx.

    Its very hard to rub the screen of the M860, it have a very hard protection in the screen.

    please let me know how it goes for you and if you find something that works.

    I have two dead pixels on mine, tried the "pixel fixers" that flash a lot of colors constantly but they didn't work. (tried em for 20 mins though, not more than that).

    I tried 3 programs like that, each one for 15+ hours, and didn't worked. I have a friend, who bouht the same M860ETU like me, and he have one dead pixel too. =x

    Pixel fixers only work on stuck pixels. And even then, the odds of repairing a stuck pixel is low.

    ok i will correct myself

    one is a dead pixel, the other one is stuck on grayish


    If you divide the screen in quadrants with the left top corner one being 1 and numbering them clockwise, my problem pixels are both in the lower right hand side of quadrant 2.


    edit: i also have to say, it's easy to forget they're there. I find it best just to not try to think of them. The small dot size makes them harder to spot so it's not that bad.

    yeah, i think there is no solution. But the best think of the high resolution in a small display, is that is a little hard to see the dead pixel. But mine`s in the center.
