I'm interested in the D900C and after a bit of searching I heard that the prices on Eurocom's website is somewhat not right? Is that true? And how can I ask for the right price? What should I say?
Thanks

you can PM the rep here, his name is Mr. Eurocom.
He has stated that they [Eurocom] can budge on the price for the D900C.. as compared to the M570RU.
Just get some quotes from XoticPC and Powernotebooks, and convert it to CAD to let Eurocom try to match it or get close to it. -
I just invested in a d900c from eurocom and they told me that they couldn't improve the price that is on the website

ha you did not work hard enough with your rep... It's impossible Eurocom can be like 1000$ over Xotic or Sager or Hypersonic for example.
BUT, considering buying locally, avoiding sending thru the border for replacements, we can't even talk about money conversion right now, but add taxes and you have IMO a 200-250$ margin I would accept to give them. Of course they won't lower their price just for the sake of lowering them. Give them some things to compare to - and I mean identical things... Just assemble a config from a competitor and ask them if they can match.
If they won't deal, go elsewhere, but I am suuuure they will prefer selling one at a competitive price than losing a sale.
But Gophn is right, we now have a sales rep here in the name of Mr. Eurocom. -
When I was investigating my purchase of my D901C, I found that the prices for Eurocomm were higher than others by a pretty decent margin. I spec'ed out two identical PCs and then called Eurocomm to discuss their price matching. The rep on the phone said they will NOT price match. They DO offer a grad/student discount [I believe it was 5%].
I ended up buying my laptop barebones [minus ram, cpu and drives] and bought those from NewEgg. I saved a fairly decent amount of money [imho] and ended up with a free copy of GRAW2 -

I just bought 2 fully loaded 570ru's from Eurocom. First one arrived on Tuesday -- everything was great. A couple points to remember -- especially for Canadians. The Canadian dollar has risen against the USD --- or rather the US dollar has FALLEN against all other currencies, including the Canadian. Your Clevos are not made in the USA so they are not necessarily cheaper for Eurocom to purchase.
I found John easy to work with and I love the fact that I'm supporting a Canadian company and am getting Canadian service and support.
