Hey guys, I just got my Sager 5720 and downloaded the latest 7800 GT go drivers from the nividia site. After doing this, I can't find an option for the Sager's native resolution of 1680x1050. Any suggestions?

Are you sure that you have the laptop's screen as the default? When you go into the Desktop Properties, go over to the Settings tab, and make sure #1 is selected.

If that doesn't work, then I would try the video drivers from laptopvideo2go.com.

Yes, the #1 to option is selected. The closest resolution I can get is 1600x1200. I would really like to get the native resolution for the monitor though.

Did you try the alternate video drivers I suggested?

You may have some problems with the NVidia control panel settings. Go into the NVidia control panel and check that you don't have anything funky set up in there. You can also create a custom resolution in there and try that.

Make sure you select the option for windows to verify new monitor settings so if you select something the monitor can't show it will go back automatically in 15 seconds when you don't verify it. You should probably select the option to "hide modes that this monitor cannot support option."

I unchecked the "Show resolutions this monitor cannot support" and was still unable to see a 1680x1050 resolution option. Is this the option you guys run at? I am currently running at 1600x1200.

If you're running at a 1600x1200 resolution, then you have the WUXGA display - your native resolution is 1920x1200.
