    I believe not, the EC reporting is not correct and your machine will start with fans at full speed and shortly after shut itself down.

    whats EC reporting? the reseller says they tested and it works, what gives?

    The EC (that controls the fan speed for instance) expects to read temperatures in a certain format, this is done slightly differently in clevos so the EC goes into a failure state with other brands.

    They might have flashed it with a clevo bios already but I would be wary.

    if they did flash it, would it work? i would like to get the 4gb version as well, but they are all so expensive

    I'm not going to say it wont since I have not personally tested it, just make sure you get a guarantee and can return it if you have issues.
