    Hi, everybody.
    Somebody knows Dell hd 7970m will work with Clevo P170HM? I know that is necessary clevo vbios flash.But I need to know precisely.

    You will never get Dell cards to work properly in Clevo machines period.

    I've seen one or two rare instances but it's pretty safe to assume no.

    This. Said instances were from years back, even before the P170HM if I remember correctly. The rule of thumb is to source a Clevo card.

    I saw something mentioned recently I think but I can't remember what it was, that just shows you how rare it is.

    Ah so it was, but mostly it's the machine starts up and starts beeping, fans spin up and the system shuts down :p
